Cards

Catch Tilda

Hi!

I was asked to make another Wedding card, this time in white-red combination. Not my favorite colors but ok, I tried. 🙂

I colored this little cutie’s hair black and then my mum said she looks old. 🙁 I took another piece of paper and colored her again, this time with the usual hair color. I used some Martha Stewart moulds this time. I’ve had them for quite some time but just didn’t have the time or will power to do anything with them. I have three large boxes of different moulds. I bought them when I was working in school and now they are just waiting for someone to use them. 🙂 I’ll try to use them more often, because I like the final result. I used frame and fern this time. 😉

For this card I used:

  • colors: TH distress ink markers and distress ink pads
  • ink: Archival black
  • watercolor paper: Langton HP 300g
  • design papers: First Edition
  • stamp: Catch Tilda (Special Moment Collection, 2013)
  • Silicone moulds from Martha Stewart
  • paper butterfly
  • white rose trim
  • flowers from Wild orchid crafts, I am roses and my stash
  • paper heart doily
  • cheesecloth
  • stickles glue (diamond)
  • frantage (shabby white).

I’m entering this card into the following challenges:

  1. Magnolia Down Under: Louises’s Choice
  2. A creative romance: Ribbon or twine
  3. The Ribbon Girl, Magnolia Only Challenge – Just 2 backing papers
Have a GREAT weekend!
Hugs, t.
