Shabby/Vintage at Fashionista Challenge GDT

Hi!

Because I was a peoples choice winner at the last challenge at Fashionista Challenge blog, I got the oportunity to be a GDT for the next challenge, which is Shabby or Vintage (or both). 🙂
I chose SHABBY! Obvious choice isn’t it. 😉

My mum’s co-worker asked me to make her a wedding card and this challenge’s theme was just the right for it. 🙂
I chose Loving bridal couple again (IMO bridal couple looks a little bit too old for newly weeds). I make quite a lot of purple cards these days, don’t I. 🙂 Well, I won’t be doing them much longer because my stash of purple flowers is comming to an end and I’ll have to order some.
Well, the wedding season is obviously opened, this is my second ordered wedding card this year and people keep calling me to make them some, so you’ll be seeing a lot of these two (E&T) in the next few months. 😉
The shape od the card was cut out with my Silhouette Cameo. If you’re thinking of buying one for yourself – Do it! 😉

For this card I used:

  • colours: TH distress ink markers and distress ink pads
  • ink: archival black
  • watercolour paper: Langton CP 300g
  • design papers: Far Far Hill freebies
  • stamps: Loving bridal couple (Wedding Collection, 2010)
  • dies: Spellbinders Floral ovals, Marianne – decorative elegance, Magnolia DooHickey Heart Swirl
  • flowers from Wild orchid crafts, I am roses
  • cheesecloth
  • liquid pearls – colour opal
  • stickles glue (stardust)
  • frantage (shabby white).

I’m entering this card into the following challenges:

  1.  Live and love crafts Challenge blog: Shades of lilac
  2. Tilda’s Town: Something Old, something New (New-papers, Old-stamp, dies)

Thank you for stopping by and commenting! Hugs, t.
