~ now for the tutorial you have been waiting for ~

STEP 1

Cut 4 rectangles 5.5″ x 5.5″ from white cardstock. Take double stitched circles die and take the biggest two circles and place them in the center of two rectangles and run it through die cutting machine.

Take keyhole die and do the same as with circles. Make sure it’s perfectly centered.

This is what you get once everything is cut out.

… and when they’re all lined up.

STEP 2

Take “Falling” stencil and place it on the each rectangle and make pattern with pumice stone Distress oxide ink.

STEP 3

To make the base of the shaker we need to add some blue colour to our forth rectangle. I used Tumbled glass Distress oxide. Once you apply it you need to dry it up with a heat gun.

STEP 4

All layers lined up should look like this. Now it’s time to make the shaker part.

Take the rectangle with keyhole and turn it around. Add layer of acetate to cover the keyhole and then add double sided foam tape around the image and card.

Add shaker bits. I added some polymer clay cards, hearts and some diamonds.

Cover it up with a rectangle with the keyhole and then with the rest of the rectangles.

STEP 5

Stamp and colour up chosen image and sentiment. Fussy cut them and add them to the card. Make some highlights with white gel pen and your card is done.

We hope that you are inspired to try out your own creation with the amazing stamps and dies from La-La Land Crafts!
