SQUISHY CATS ♥♥♥ Stamping Bella

Tamara here with you. First let me wish you all a HAPPY NEW YEAR! May all your wishes come true! Do you know that great feeling once Christmas is over and you fell like you can do just about any card you want? I’ve had this Squishy cats stamp for some time now and they really remind me of my cats, just chilling and enjoying themselves.

I stamped this image with Archival Ink – Jet black on 300g HP watercolour paper from Fabriano. I coloured it up using Distress Ink pads. Colours used are: fossilized amber, spiced marmalade, vintage photo, hickory smoke and black soot. After colouring them up I fussy cut them.

The brick wall I created is a bit different. If you add texture pase over the brick wall stencil and then leave it to dry for a few hours it will create solid hard bricks which will stick to the paper. I do things a bit differently. I apply texture paste and then I dry it out with my heat gun which lifts the paste from the paper. It only sticks on the sides and creates these 3d bricks (they look a bit fluffy). It’s a bit hard to explain but once you try it you’ll see what I’m talking about. LOL
