Ice Tilda
Today I’m sharing with you a gift box made with my favourite stamps and embellishments. For this gift box I used Ice Tilda from Aspen Holidays collection. I coloured the image using Distress ink pads.
Dies used on this gift box:
Papers used are from Maja Design – Denim & Friends.
I also decorated/covered the inside of the box. Paper is also from the same collection.
I added a drawer handle on each side.
I used a few chipboards (Scrapiniec) and lots of pretty I am roses flowers. Those cute frozen things are called Frozen Pomegranate-Glistening White.
That’s all from me today. Have a lovely Saturday!

It's gorgeous! I so love the way you color your images… if I may ask, how do you manage to get the colours so light? Do you just colour the edges of the image and leave the rest white? For instance her shoes….. did you leave the edges white or are they just very light coloured? Thanks in advance! 😉
Tamara
Hi Jolanda!
I start with the edges and then spread the colour inside. The middle of her face is usually white, but when you look at it it looks soft skin toned because you can't see where the colouring ends and white begins. Shoes on this image are all coloured.

Thank you Tamara for your quick reply. Yes I do the same… start at the edges and spread to the inside. But it seems your images are lighter somehow. Maybe you can take a look at my latest card and see what I do different if you have the time to do so. Thank you in advance!!

Your colouring is great! The only difference I see is the paper. Mine is smoother so maybe this is where the difference occours.

That could be the difference perhaps. I use this paper:

Is that less smooth then yours? Maybe you could take a quick look?
Sorry I take up so much of your time but I would like soooo much to improve my colouring.
