Welcome to the showcase of an awesome January la-la land club kit. I was terrified to work with this kit because I never saw a superhero in pastels before, ahhhaaaa … Once I started colouring and cutting it was pure joy!

Soooo … here’s my first card. I made a shaker card (I’m getting a bit obsessed with them lately). Papers used are from Simple Stories – diy boutique. Loveeee them …
For the shaker I used the new Double stitched circles die!!! and filled them with the sequins, stars, beads etc. from the local craft store.

Distress markers and ink pads used:
skin: vintage photo
cheeks: worn lipstick
hair: antique linen, walnut stain
outfit: mermaid lagoon, fossilized amber, black soot
shoes, cape: picked raspberry, black soot

My second card was made with the same set of papers. This one is not a shaker even though the center of the card looks like one. I just made a frame and put the skyline die cuts inside.

hair: mermaid lagoon, broken china, tumbled glass, black soot
outfit: picked raspberry, fossilized amber, black soot
shoes, cape: fossilized amber, black soot

I used one of the dies from the regular offer. It’s called Double Stitched Squares Die (set of 4). I used it for a center of my card.
