Hi!
Tamara here with you sharing my latest Christmas card. We have a lockdown again due to Corona madness and even though Christmas is near I can't really get myself into Christmas spirit. I had big plans this year to really use all my unused Christmas stamps, but obviously with my collage, working from home and teaching at home that won't happen. LOL Next year then!
One of the stamps that I really wanted to use this year is Gingerbread House. I used this stamps quite a few times before and I absolutely love it. It has such fine lines!!! Love it.
I chose traditional colours for this image: red, green, white. I even found some gingham red ribbon, it's impossible to get here especially now that everything is closed. I added lots of pretty flowers and some white enamel chunks to that it looks like it's snowing.
Image was coloured up using Distress ink pads (as always). Colours used are:
gingerbread: vintage photo
leaves: peeled paint
windows, roof, chimney: ground espresso
light: fossilized amber, spiced marmalade
Sentiment used "Believe in the MAGIC od Christmas" comes with one of the newly released sets called Penguin's Big Catch.
Have a lovely Sunday! Stay safe!
Hugs, t.
