La-La Land Crafts September 2020 New Release - Day 4

Welcome to day 3 of our SEPTEMBER 2020 NEW RELEASE!  What's in this RELEASE

I'll be sharing my New Release cards throughout the next three days. My first card features super cute Chihuahuas who are all about Fiesta!!! I used a lot of new items on this card and it's super fun and doggies are so so cute.

I stamped my images using Archival Ink - Jet black and then coloured them up using Distress Ink pads.

Distress ink pads used:
dogs: vintage photo
hat: fossilized amber, spiced marmalade, mowed lawn

I made the little rectangular windows using one of the new dies called - Double Stitched Rectangles Die. I added new green paper on the back. It's my favourite sheet from the new Asian themed paper pad.

I loveeee how those little tacos look. irina made the most perfect dies for them and they are super easy to put together. i added some 3d foam in the middle to make them look more 3d, not sure if you can see it from the picture.

So, that's it for today. I'll be back tomorrow with another New Release card.

Rosie and Bernie in a Bus ♥♥♥ Stamping Bella

Hi!
It's Tamara here with you with my Sunday's post. I've finally (really) started with this year's Christmas cards. Stamping Bella has soooo many awesome Christmas stamps that it's not that easy to choose which one to use first. I've had this shaker snow globe idea in my head for some time now. I wanted to make it super easy, no extra dies used or anything. Only die used was nested circles for the glass part, other than that it's all hand cut.

Image used is called Rosie and Bernie in a Bus. This is my first Rosie and Bernie stamp used and I love it. Girl and a Unicorn together?! YES please!!! Little confesion ... I just got a small box of new Rosie and Bernie stamps (blush).

Image was coloured up using Distress Inks pads on 300g HP watercolour paper.

Distress Ink pads used:
skin: vintage photo
unicorn: black soot, seedles preserves, tattered rose
scarvs: barn door
bus: black soot, broken china, fossilized amber, spiced marmalade
tree: peeled paint, forest moss

Sentiment comes from a different stamp set called: The penguin on a reindeer on a polar bear rubber stamp.

I added lots of pretty stuff to the shaker part: clear diamonds, glitter, red candy, snowflakes, sequins ...

That's all from me today.

I was like sureeeeee ... well, here's my card with the cutest image called Curvy Girl Multitasker.

Curvy Girl Baker ♥♥♥ Stamping Bella

Hi!

Tamara here with you with a Cooking/Cake/Love themed card featuring Curvy Girl Baker. I coloured this pretty girl in no-lines technique. Colouring images in no-lines technique is a bit more work but I really love the end result and it makes images look really soft and delicate.

Papers used are very new in my collection and there's quite a few that match cooking theme prefectly. I really like the one with old handwriting that looks like a quickly written recipe. My mom has a lon of small papers, napkins ... scribbled with recipes. hehe ...

I stamped my image using Archival Ink - Potting soli twice on a white paper first and then on the watercolour paper without inking the stamp in between. This way I got a very pale image and perfect for no-lines colouring. The colouring medium used are Distress ink pads.

Distress ink pads colours used:
skin: vintage photo
cheeks: worn lipstick
hair: antique linen, walnut stain
dress, branch, shoes: peelep paint, black soot
apron, hat, flower: victorian velvet, black soot

Sentiment "The secret ingredient is always love" comes with the image.

That's all from me today!

Hi!
Tamara here with you. Fot this week's post I made a baby card using Squidgy and Teddy. I can honestly say this is my most used Stamping Bella image. I've used it for Baby cards, Friendship cards, Birthdays and even Anniversaries. Teddy can be coloured in any color and it's so easy to use.

I added a part of the sentiment (Hey) from Hey Baby sentiment which comes in Hydrangea Baby rubber stamp set.

Image was stamped using Archival Ink - Jet black on 300g HP watercolour paper and then coloured up using Distress ink pads.

Distress Ink pads colours used:
skin: vintage photo
cheeks: worn lipstick
hair: antique linen, walnut stain
dress, shoes, heart: victorian velvet, black soot

I added a few die cuts to make this into a baby themed card. I always love to add hearts to my cards. I have so many heart dies it's ridiculous, but I love using them. lol

Namaste ♥♥♥ Stamping Bella

Hi!
Tamara here with you. I admit I never tried joga or any kind of meditation. I just don't have the patience or the energy OR the time for it. LOL I think my kind of joga is colouring and I'll stick to that.

Image used on my card today is called Curvy Girl Namaste. Do you know what Namaste means? Nama means bow, as means I, and te means you. Therefore, namaste literally means "bow me you" or "I bow to you."

I really like the sentiment I used with this image. It's part of the Good Vibes Sentiment Set. There's quite a few great sentiments in that set.

Image was stamped with Archival Ink - Jet Black on 300g HP watercolour paper and then coloured in using Distress Ink pads.

Distress ink pads colours used:
skin: vintage photo
cheeks: worn lipstick
hair: antique linen, walnut stain
shirt: victorian velvet, black soot
pants: evergreen bough, black soot

Tutorial Thursday - Slimline card ❤ la-la land crafts

 Hi!

Tamara here with you. Have you noticed how crazy popular slimline cards are for the last few months? They are everywhere and they are sooooo much fun to make. You don't need fancy slimline dies to create one and today I'll show you how to make a simple slimline card for a friend.

What you need:
white cardstock
distress oxide ink pads (tumbled glass, broken china)
blending tool
colouring medium
cutter/scissors

la-la land crafts items you need:
Stitched Sun and Clouds Die
Coffee is Life Clear Stamp Set
Summer is Here Layering Stencil
Stitched Clouds Border Die

Step 1:
Cut 3 3/4 x 8" rectangle from white cardstock. I use watercolour paper because it's easier to apply colour later.

  Step 2:
Take your cloud stencil and start makeing cloudy background using Broken China Distress Oxide on the bottom clouds and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide on the middle and top ones. Move your stencil, so that the clouds don't look all the same.

Step 3:
Cut a small rectangle 2 x 3 3/4" from white cardstock and cut o+it on the top with Cloud border die. This will be the bottom of our card.
Die cut 3 clouds: one big one and two smaller ones. Stamp your images and colour them with your chosen colouring medium and then fussy cut them.
Stamp the sentiment from the same stamp set and cut it out.

 Step 4:
Glue the white cloudy piece on the bottom of the card.

Step 5:
Add foam tape to the back of the images and sentiment.

Step 6:
Glue your images to the card base. Make sure to glue the sentiment straight.

Step 7:
Add some glitter to the ropes or coffe cups and that's it. Your CAS Coffe friends card is done.

That's it from my end.
Hugs, t.
