BASEBALL SQUIDGY ♥♥♥ Stamping Bella

Tamara here with you. Today I'm sharing with you a baseball card. Did you know we don't have baseball here in Slovenia? Nope! All I know about it is from movies.
Image used is called Baseball Squidgy. I coloure the image using Distress ink pads. Before I started colouring I googled baseball outfits so I knew how to colour it. heh ...

Distress ink pad colours used:
skin: vintage photo
cheeks: worn lipstick
hair: antique linen, walnut stain
outfit: faded jeans, black soot
baseball bat: gathered twigs

Papers used are from Carta Bella - baseball collection. Sentiment "Never give up ..." comes with the image.
I didn't add a lot of die cuts on this one. Just a flag banner and a few stars. Sentiment was cut out using stitched rectangles. I finished off the card with a few enamel dots and some lines drawn with white gel pen.

That's all from me today. Enjoy your Sunday!

Tutorial Thursday - Advent houses with lights ❤ la-la land crafts

Tamara here with you. Today I'll show you how to make 4 advent houses with tea lights. I got the idea on a German blog and made a similar project using La-la land crafts items on it. It's a simple design and you can use a lot of different dies, stamps and embellishments to decorate it.

What you need:
white cardstock
design paper
scoring board
paper trimmer
double sided adhesive
liquid adhesive
glue gun

la-la land crafts items you need:
Step 1:
Take white cardstock (300g) and cut two ractangles:
(1) 6.5" x 4 3/4" (base/bottom)
(2) 9" x 1 3/4" (roof piece)

Make folds at:
(1) 1.5" from each side
(2) 2.5" - 4.5" - 6.5"

... cut and fold like shown on the picture.

Step 2:
Take your dies and cut 2 3.5" x 1.5" rectangles. One from blue design paper and one from white cardstock. Use cloud border on the top of the blue one and double stitched hill border on the white one.
Make die cuts. For one box you need:
1 cloud piece
1 white piece
half of the lights
number 1-4
4 stitched borders
1 small pennant

Step 3:
Cut two rectangles from design paper measuring 1 3/8" x 1 5/8".

Step 4:
Glue together the bottom part of the box.

Glue small rectangles from part 3 to both edges of the long rectangle.

Step 5:
Measure the width of the roof and cut 5 pieces for each side (to get 5 pieces you need to glue together 2 borders and then start cutting). You need 5 for each side of the roof.

Step 6:
Glue the roof piece to the base.

Step 7:
Decorate the front.

Add a number for each week of the Advent.

Put a tea light inside. Don't use a candle!!!

I added small windows on each side of the house.

Step 8:
Add some glitter and there you are!!

I used Distress ink pads for colouring - nothing new there, lol.

Design papers chosen are from Maja Design, some old Christmas release. Sentiment "someone was very good this year" comes with the image. There are a few other great ones there too.

Ellie loves PHANT stuffies ♥♥♥ Stamping Bella

Tamara here with you. For this week's post I coloured one of the cutest stamps Ellie loves PHANT stuffies. I made a criss-cross card in baby pink. The size of the card is 5" x 5" and the inside part measures 4.5" x 4.5".

Image was coloured using Distress ink pads. I stamped the image using Archival ink - Jet black on 300g HP watercolour paper. I only used 3 colours to colour in the elephants: pumice stone, black soot and tattered rose. I used peeled paint distress ink for the grass.

I cut two stitched hearts and attached them to both sides of the pull-out part so that it can be pulled out easily.
Sentiment "I love you" comes with the image. It was cut out using a simple banner die.

Design papers used are from Carta Bella. I added two enamel dots and some glitter to embellish it.
