Adventure Prince ☆ C.C. Designs

Today I'm sharing a card made with one of the new sets called Adventure Prince. I used quite unusual colours for me as you see, hehe ...
From the set I used little prince, castle and sentiment "You make life an adventure"

All images were coloured using distress ink pads. Papers are from Doodlebug.

I cut out all images using matching Adventure Prince Outline dies. Sentiment was cut out using the new Banners and I also used a border die from Castle.

That's all from me today!

My Own Key MINI album ♡ Swedish House Crafts DT

Today I have a mini album for you. When I say mini I mean MINI. there's only enough space for two photos or maybe 4 if you put some on the back too. hehe ...

For this project I coloured one of the new Magnolia's images called My Own Key Tilda (You're Invited collection, 2018). Image was coloured using Distress ink pads.

I embellished the front of the album using lots of pretty flowers from I am roses.

Leaves die cuts used are from Magnolia Day workshop kits. I cut them out from Maja Design Monochromes paper - Celebration (Vintage teal). As you can see one side is dark teal and one is light teal.

Design papers used for this project are from Maja Design - Celebration.
I added a picture from the side so that you can see how the album in folded together.

The inside ...

Dies used on this project are mostly from Magnolia:
Key and Key hole, ladder, hearts ... these dies are from Magnolia's Doohickey kits. There are still a few kits available to pre-order HERE.

I used a few different Gummiapan stamps on my project. I stamped Stockholm Post Stamp and Angelpost to the front (arround the image) and to the empty space inside (meant to add a sentiment).

Another Gummiapan stamp used is Camera stamp. I stamped it on the Pearl Monochrome paper to show the recipient that this is an album and he/she can put photographs inside these empty slots.

A Fish Kisses to Tilda ♡ Swedish House Crafts DT

Some time ago I promised you to show you how I stamp my images using Tim Holtz Stamping Platform. I've been using another stamping platform but I wanted to try this one and I loveeeeee it. It's super easy to use, it has great design, the size is perfect ...

Stamping Platform (SP) has two sides. One says Rubber and the other one Clear. You simply switch the cover if your using clear stamps. My plan was to stamp Magnolia stamp which is rubber so I adjusted my SP to rubber.

I placed a piece of watercolour paper in the top corner and added magnets. (you get two with the SP. I cover them with washi tape so I can pick them up easily. They are very strong and having washi around them makes my life easier).

I usually add a piece of ordinary paper on top of the watercolour one so that I can try first if the stamp is positioned ok or I have to change it before staming onto watercolor paper.

I put the stamp on the paper and simply pick it up with the top part of my SP.

When my image is stamped I can adjust it (if it's not ok) or simply remove the pink paper and stamp to watercolour paper.

And here it is. Very simple with great result. IF the stamped image wasn't crisp enough I could just add ink again and stamp on top of the image. This is the best thing about these stamping platforms. You can keep inking the stamp and stamping on top of the image. It will always cover the same lines and you won't have to waste any more expensive colouring paper.

Soooo ... since I had that cute mermaid coloured why not making a card with her. hehehee .... This image is brand new from Magnolia's last release and is called A Fish Kisses to Tilda. Image was coloured using Distress ink pads.

I'm sure you noticed the PRETY papers I used?! Right?! These are also brand new, they are from Maja Design and the collection is called Celebration. You can also get Monocromes!!

Dies used are from past Magnolia's die boxes. You can still pre-order vol.18 and vol.19 HERE!

That's all from me today! Enjoy!!
