Magnolia only / The Ribbon Girl

I hope you're all having a lovely Sunday. We changed to summer time today so we got to sleep one hour longer. Even out daughter slept a little bit longer, so we all got a good rest.

Today starts a new Magnolia only challenge over at The Ribbon Girl challenge blog. Out theme is:

Anything but square

Once again we have two fantastic prizes for our winner: a Magnolia stamp all the way from the home of Edwin and Tilda kindly donated by Magnolia of Sweden and a £10 voucher towards a spending spree at The Ribbon Girl

For my dt project I made a Spring card with Tilda with elsie the lamb from Magnolia. She was released in Animal of the year collection, 2014.

Tilda was coloured with Distress Markers and Ink pads. I used Langton HP 300g watercolour paper and stamped the image with Archival Ink Jet Black.

Dies used on this card:
umbrella (March club kit) - la-la land crafts
Stitched oval - Make a card #5 - C.C. Designs
Scalloped oval - Make a card #2 - C.C. Designs
keys (Doohickey club vol.3 Oh la la) - Magnolia
leaves - Prima marketing

Doilies ❤ la-la land

It's a rainy day here in Slovenia today. I guess April is almost here and that means rain, rain, rain ... and my Birthday. lol
Besides the rain it's Friday and time for la-la land crafts Friday inspiration. Our theme this week is Doilies
I'm sure you all know that la-la land has a few gorgeous doilies that I really, really and really love to use on all of my dt projects. Here's my Friday inspiration:

Isn't this cute Marci just perfect for today's rainy weather? She is called Marci with Umbrella. I also used sentiment on this card and it says:

You can't have a RAINBOW without a little RAIN

This sentiment comes with Paper Doll Marci - Spring showers.

Distress markers and Spectrum Aqua markers used:
skin: vintage photo
cheeks: worn lipstick
hair: antique linen, walnut stain
hat, coat, boots: leaf green (SA), black (SA)
belt, buttons: fawn (SA), black (SA)
umbrella: victorian velvet, black (SA)

Flowers are from I am roses (White Paper Roses, Gardenias, White Puffy Paper Flowers)

You can get more of Friday inspiration here. Don't forget to check the super fun tutorials on Thursdays and more inspiration posts every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
