Snowy Tilda

This week I'm a guest designer at Crafts to Challenge you blog. The theme this month is Christmas festivities and the twist What Christmas means to you.

Christmas means a lot to me, especially now that I have a family of my own. I can't wait for this year’s holidays!! There will be a lot of baking, laughing and opening presents!

I made a card in white-blue colour combination. The shape of the card was cut out with silhouette cameo. I coloured my lovely Tilda with distress markers and sewn the edges. I'm still learning how to sew on cards, this is my third one, so don't judge me too harsh. lol
I used a lot of flowers and berries. There are also a few die cuts. The newest one I have is tattered pinecone from TH. I used only the branch. Snowflake is covered with stickles glue (stardust). The papers are Maja design.

For this card I used:
  • Colours: TH distress markers and ink pads
  • ink: Archival black
  • watercolor paper: Langton HP 300 g
  •  design papers: Maja design
  • stamps: Snowy Tilda (Christmas story coll., 2012), We wish you a merry christmas - text
  • dies: Sizzix tattered pinecone, Magnolia Doohickey - scalloped tag, Joy crafts - snowflakes border die
  • flowers from I am roses, LLC, The ribbon girl
  • metal embellishment
  • white cotton cord
  • white lace
  • stickles glue – stardust.

Midwinter Tilda

Weekend is over and I managed to do one Christmas card. Isn't it funny how people usually start buying Christmas cards a week before Christmas? I'm a little bit of a control freak so I must have everything ready weeks before Christmas. :)

I made a criss cross card this time. I was inspired by the lovely cards my blog friend Teresa makes. They are amazing. Those of you who know her, know what I'm talking about. :) I used one of the older Christmas Tildas called Midwinter Tilda. I used this stamp because I wanted to enter Magnolia Mania's challenge called Lantern. There are no specific instructions about the lantern, whether it must be cut out of paper or it can be a stamped image?!? I hope my card will qualify.

... do you like my little angel's wings? ;)

For this card I used:

  • Colours: TH distress markers and ink pads
  • ink: Archival black
  • watercolor paper: Langton HP 300 g
  •  design papers: Maja design - Vintage autumn basics
  • stamps: Midwinter Tilda (Sweet Christmas dreams coll., 2011), Christmas - text
  • punch: MS - branch
  • flowers from I am roses, LLC ...
  • frantage – shabby white
  • white lace
  • twinklets diamond dust + Pod Modge glue (sugar effect on flowers)
  • glossy accent
  • stickles glue – stardust.

I’m entering this card into the following challenges:
  1. Magnolia Mania: Lantern (Tilda is holding a lantern in her hand)
  2. Lovely hAnglar or sweet Magnolia: Sparkle
  3. Magnolia-licious challenge blog: Anything goes

Puppy love Tilda & Peaceful Christmas tree

Here I am again with a Christmas card. lol As you all know I am a total Tilda fan and when I saw the rest of the new Winter Wonderland collection I knew I MUST have these two. Peaceful Christmas tree will be used a lot this year. :)

When my bf saw this Tilda for the first time he said she looks like she's carrying a large bone. lol Maybe she is, after all she is called puppy love Tilda and just maybe she wrapped her little doggie a bone and she's putting it under the tree. :) I was thinking of adding a Cute Magnolia too, but these two are enough for one card. :)

For this card I used:
  • Colours: TH distress markers and ink pads
  • ink: Archival black
  • watercolor paper: Langton HP 300 g
  •  design papers: Maja design - Vintage autumn basics
  • stamps: Puppy love Tilda, Peaceful Christmas tree, Merry Christmas text (all from Winter Wonderland coll., 2013)

Tilda with big bouquet of flowers

When I woke up at 7 am this morning and looked out of the window, the first thing that I saw was gls delivery van. :) I finally got my new papers from LLC. Happy!
I had to use some right away (this in real life means at least 12 hours later). I made a winter Birthday card. I bought this beautiful Tilda a few months back and didn't have the time or opportunity to use it. It's one of those BIG stamps where you use a lot of time to colour it but the result just blows you away.
I put twinklets diamond dust on flowers. I love the effect!

For this card I used:
  • Colours: TH distress markers and ink pads
  • ink: Archival black
  • watercolor paper: Langton HP 300 g

  • stamps: Tilda with big bouquet of flowers (Christmas story coll., 2012), Happy Birthday -text

I created a scene with Show the way Tilda, Show the way sign and Little baby Rudolph. I didn’t use the traditional Christmas colours. I went with pink this time! In the left corner I used my new Sizzix die presents and bows. Papers are Maja design. I think I can’t work with anything else anymore. Lol
