Salute Tilda

It’s 32 °C outside and 22 °C inside. The air is heavy and I think we can expect a good storm this afternoon. 🙁
A few days back I made a Birthday card for a friend of mine. She’s a nurse, so I could use a nurse Tilda, but I wanted to try another cutie from Sea Breeze Collection, Salute Tilda. I didn’t know what to use for a background, because I don’t have many of them, so I used this rope I found among my stamps. I think they look great together. 😉

For this card I used:

  • colors: TH distress ink markers and distress ink pads
  • ink: Archival black
  • design papers:
  • stamp: Salute Tilda (Sea Breeze collection, 2013), New York (With love collection, 2013), rope?
  • dies: Magnolia doohickey – tilda ticket
  • flowers from Wild orchid crafts, I am roses and my stash
  • paper doily
  • glossy accent
  • cheesecloth
  • stickles glue (stardust)
  • frantage (chunky white, old silver)
  • silver fragments.

I’m entering this card into the following challenges:

  1. Cute card Thursday: Beside the seaside
  2. The Ribbon Girl Challenge blog: July color challenge (blue)
  3. Crafty Ribbons: Birthday
  4. Crafts and me Challenges: Anything goes

Hugs, t.
