Cards

Loving bridal couple

All I’ve been hearing these last few weeks is frantage this and frantage that …. 50 % of the DT’s cards on different blogs are frantaged. Well, I ordered some … truthfully A LOT! You know, you need white and pink and blue and then some glass glitter and some different fragments …. and there you have it – empty wallet. The good news is the frantage is on its way to my craft room. Wohoooo ….

My mum’s co-worker asked me to make her a wedding card in red. As many of you know, red is not my colour, I would rather make it in pink or purple or even yellow, but no, she wants red. 🙂
I chose dp from my new paper pack from First edition papers – Flower pavilion. I have a lot of First Edition’s paper packs, because there is so many beautiful patterns for so many different occasions. The newest packs are called New bloom and Flower pavilion. Check them out, they are awesome! 🙂

As you probably notice, this is my second shaped card in a few days, thanks to my new Silhouette Cameo. I never heard of it until my bf found it on line and eventually we ordered it. 🙂

For this card I used:

  • colors: TH distress ink markers and distress ink pads
  • ink: archival black
  • aquarel paper: Langton HP 300g
  • design papers: First Edition – Flower pavilion
  • stamps: Loving bridal couple (Wedding Collection, 2010)
  • dies: Spellbinders Floral ovals, Magnolia DooHickey Heart Swirl
  • flowers from Wild orchid crafts, I am roses
  • cheesecloth
  • pearl hearts
  • liquid pearls – color opal
  • stickles glue (stardust).

I’m entering this card into the following challenges:

  1. Simon Says Challenge Blog: Anything goes
  2. Deep Ocean Challenge Blog: Favourite colour combo (red-white)
  3. Time for Magnolia Challenge: Easel card
Thank you for all your coments! Hugs, t.
