18 Days of Christmas - Day 10 ❤ la-la land crafts

18 Days of Christmas - Day 10

Hi!
It's Tamara here with you on Day 10 of 18 Days of Christmas projects. I made a teal colored Christmas card. In the last two years I noticed that people want flat Christmas cards which is a totally crazy thing for me, because I want to fill them up with flowers, lace and lots of glitter. So, today's card is a flat card that can fit in the standard envelope.

I used teal papers from the new Little Merry Christmas paper pad. Image chosen is called Cozy Molli. I colored her up using Distress ink pads on 300g HP watercolor paper. I always use HP (hot pressed) paper for coloring, it's easier to spread color and it's very smooth.

Distress ink pad colors used:
skin: vintage photo
cheeks: worn lipstick
hair: antique linen, walnut stain
outfit: broken china, black soot, pumice stone

la-la land crafts items used:
Little Merry Christmas
Cozy Molli Rubber Stamp
Christmas Postcard Stamp Set
Large Half Doily Die
Three Presents Die
Star Wreath Die

We don't have any special Christmas tradition. We decorate the tree a few days before the Christmas Eve and on the Christmas Eve my mom usually makes a dinner for all of us and she uses special Christmas plates with little Christmas trees on them and covered with gold paint. After dinner we usually watch a Christmas movie or play games.

That's it from me. Happy Holidays!!

PEONY BABY IN A POT RUBBER STAMP ♥♥♥ Stamping Bella

Hi!
Tamara here with you. Today I'm sharing a sweet Baby shaker card. I loveeeee these Baby images (Peony Baby in a Pot), they are so so cute and so much fun for colouring in. First I had an idea to make a 1st Birthday card with this one and then changed it to a Baby card. I can always add a number if I need it, right?!
Image was stamped with Archival ink on HP watercolour paper. I'm always using HP (hot pressed) for my colouring. It gives such awesome results and ink can be spread easily.

For colouring I used Distress ink pads. Colours used are:
skin: vintage photo
cheeks: worn lipstick
pot: rusty hinge
leaves: peeled paint
flower: victorian velvet, black soot

I fussy cut the image BUT you can also get a matching outline die.

I added all kinds of pink and clear sequins, stars and hearts to the shaker part. I die cut  few hearts and glued them around the image to make it super sweet.

That's all from me today.
